Same straightforward view... experimentation with washes and light shading. I may be afraid of saturation, as my watercolors tend to be consistently (too?) light.

I love your coffee cup paintings! They don't show all the details, but imply enough that the painting is still understandable. In this piece in particular, I love the splatter at the bottom. And the way the coffee cup is mostly negative space.
